What is PNP?
PNP allows provinces to select immigrants destined to their province. In this way, they can attract and retain those most likely to settle permanently in the province and to contribute to its economic activity.
Each province and territory has its own “streams” (immigration programs that target certain groups) and requirements.
For example, in a program stream, provinces and territories may target:
- students
- business people
- skilled workers
- semi-skilled workers
